TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT

Next to the little shack at the Compactor, where Tom and Bill greet residents bringing their trash and recyclables, there are items left by residents that are ready to be reused. Residents come and take these items while others (under the discretion of Tom and Bill) leave these items. Last week this area of the compactor finally received the proper signage thanks to the Climate Smart Taskforce. Climate Smart is also starting to spread the word. So before you toss something in the trash speak to Tom (sadly Bill passed away recently, may you rest peacefully and thank you for the service you gave to PV residents over many years) maybe you can leave it for someone to take it (recycle, reuse & adapt).
